Multiple award-winning media personality and broadcast journalist Patrice Amegashie has joined GhanaWeb, Ghana’s most credible and leading online news platform, as Commercial Manager.

With over two decades of experience in the media and communications space, Patrice brings a wealth of expertise spanning business development, sales and marketing, event planning and management, content creation, and concept development.

His depth of knowledge and industry insight is expected to significantly strengthen GhanaWeb’s commercial and strategic growth.

Patrice Amegashie is widely recognised for his impactful work across Ghana's radio and television.

He rose to national prominence as a television show host, most notably as the co-host of the flagship morning programme “This Morning” on Viasat 1, alongside Kokui Selormey.

The show focused on current affairs, lifestyle, and entertainment, earning strong viewership and critical acclaim.

Throughout his television career, Patrice won multiple awards and built a loyal audience.

He has managed and worked with notable brands, including UT Bank, MTN, Goldkey Properties, Buena Vista Homes, Telecel, Compu Ghana, UBA, Telefonika, and Access Bank.

His professional journey includes working at Radio Gold as a Morning Show Host and later as Human Resources & Corporate Affairs Manager.

He later joined TV Africa as a Morning Show Host, Head of Programmes, and on-air talent.

Widely regarded as one of Ghana’s notable broadcast journalists and media personalities, he has been consistently listed among the top Ghanaian journalists in industry rankings and has twice won Television Morning Show Host of the Year as well as Best Morning Show at the Radio and Television Personality (RTP) Awards.

Known for a warm and engaging on-screen presence that resonates with audiences, he blends current affairs, lifestyle content, and light entertainment with ease, and played a key role in popularising modern morning TV formats in Ghana through interactive segments and dynamic presentation, backed by strong expertise in programming strategy and business development.
