  The government should look at the high remuneration of CEOs, their allowances like free petrol, cars etc and also that of the staff in the Presidency. These excess allowances and salaries should be reduced and used to boost low ranking public servants. Salaries from the President to the lowest public servant should be transparent. Government should have monthly rates paid per kilometre so that workers may submit claims for government work. This means they should pre-finance their official travels. The free fuel approach be stopped. Senior public officials of certain designated rank should buy their own cars through the banks.
