John Abdulai Jinapor is the Minister of Energy and Green Transition
The Minister of Energy and Green Transition, John Abdulai Jinapor, has engaged key stakeholders in the downstream petroleum sector as part of efforts to reduce fuel prices in the next pricing window.
The engagement, conducted in collaboration with the Ministry of Finance Ghana, the National Petroleum Authority (NPA) among others follows a directive from Cabinet on Thursday to suspend selected taxes and margins within the fuel pricing structure.
According to the minister, the move is aimed at easing the cost burden on consumers and improving economic conditions for households and businesses.

The discussions brought together industry players to align on the implementation of the policy measures, which are expected to reflect in upcoming fuel price adjustments.
