COCOBOD shd reduce the size of its management which is the main cause of its administrative expenditure. The administrators are benefitting at the expense of poor farmers.

Stop wasteful cocoa farm input subsidies and instead factor that into the buying prices for efficient market economy to attract the supply for all the demand. A high portion of expenditure on cocoa inputs subsidy are overpriced to Cocoabod, inefficiently sourced, substandard, diverted etc. if you allow the farmers to buy these themselves on the open market at competitive prices and sell their output at economic prices you won’t need to build prisons to jail people for seeking just rewards for their sweats.

If farmers cut down all cocoa trees and plant palm trees then we will know the relevance of that big office with tens of thousands of suit and tie workers. Down size immediately!!! I’m a die hard NDC but I’ll not put my finger in the honey and put it in the anus.
Guess what, Ni one can decide for me where to sell my cocoa. I don’t care about that threat of imprisonment.
Whether NDC or NPP I’ll always look for the best market for my cocoa.

It will just mean more Cocobod people are killed, if a smuggler is facing 10 years in Jail he is much more likely to kill someone who is interfering in his business. The punishment should fit the crime..
