The program combines physical training centres and virtual instruction
The One Million Coders Program (OMCP) has recorded 12,623 course completions within weeks of the rollout of Phase Two, highlighting growing interest in digital skills training across Ghana.
Latest analytics from the program’s learning platforms, released following the commencement of Phase Two on May 11, 2026, show that thousands of participants are actively engaging in coding and technology courses aimed at improving employability, enhancing businesses, and preparing for opportunities in the digital economy.
Participants include students, teachers, entrepreneurs, market women, young professionals, parents, public servants, and persons with disabilities who are benefiting from the initiative’s flexible learning opportunities.
The program combines physical training centres, virtual instruction, and self-paced online learning to make digital education accessible to people across the country.
Officials at the Ministry of Communications, Digital Technology and Innovations say the milestone demonstrates the increasing demand for technology-driven skills among Ghanaians.
