Ghanaian businessman Ibrahim Mahama has described Nigerian billionaire Abdul Samad Rabiu as his "master" while paying tribute to his achievements during a meeting in Lagos, Nigeria.

A video shared on social media on July 19, 2026, captured the two African business leaders spending a relaxed weekend by the riverside, where they were seen chatting and sharing light-hearted moments.

"You people see me in Ghana as a rich man. I'm not a rich man; this is my master. This be my master. I have come to learn some lessons from him,” he said amid laughter.

Rabiu, who appeared pleased by the remarks, responded by expressing his admiration for the Ghanaian businessman and looked forward to visiting him in Accra.

"When I grow up I want to be like you. I want to be like you. Ibrahim, thank you so much for coming to Lagos. I must come and see you in Accra very soon,” Rabiu stated.
