Samsung begins sale of Galaxy Z Fold8 on Ghana market

Samsung has officially launched the Galaxy Z Fold8 for sale in Ghana, with customers who pre-ordered the device now able to collect it from selected pickup locations across the country.

The latest foldable smartphone, which was unveiled at Samsung’s Galaxy Unpacked event in July, is also available for purchase at Samsung-authorised retail stores and selected retail partners nationwide.

The Galaxy Z Fold8 weighs 201 grams, making it Samsung’s lightest Galaxy Z Fold model yet. The device features a shorter and wider design aimed at improving portability while maintaining the large display associated with the Fold series.

Samsung says the smartphone is designed to support productivity, entertainment and content creation through its foldable main screen and Galaxy AI features.

The device also comes with dual 50-megapixel cameras, allowing users to capture high-resolution photos and videos.

According to Samsung, the combination of a larger main screen and artificial intelligence tools is intended to make multitasking and other everyday smartphone activities easier.

Customers who placed pre-orders can collect their devices from the pickup locations they selected during the ordering process.

Samsung is also allowing consumers who do not currently use Galaxy smartphones to experience some of its features through its Try Galaxy platform.

With the start of nationwide sales, the Galaxy Z Fold8 becomes the latest addition to Samsung’s foldable smartphone range available on the Ghanaian market.
