Economic analyst, Senyo Hosi, has denied claims that he has secured a contract from the Ghana Gold Board (GoldBod) to provide a platform for the buying and selling of gold from banks.
In a post on X and sighted by GhanaWeb Business on Monday, August 24, 2026, he said he had not secured any such contract and was also unaware that banks in Ghana supply gold to GoldBod.
“I have not landed any contract to provide a platform for buying and selling gold from banks. I also did not know that the Banks in Ghana supply Gold to GoldBod,” he stated.

He, however, confirmed that his team is developing financial and operational technology in Ghana, stressing that the work is locally designed and owned.
“What is true is that my team continues to build world-class financial and operational technology, locally designed and owned,” he said.
He added that his team remains open to supporting Ghanaian institutions with its technology whenever the need arises.
“We will always be ready to support Ghana’s institutions when called upon. If such an opportunity ever presents itself, we will deliver,” he added.

Hosi's comments come in response to a poster circulating with claims linking him to a GoldBod project.
While rejecting the claim that any contract has been awarded to him, he appeared to leave room for such a partnership in the future.
