The UK Investment Roadshow 2026 has opened in London to connect Ghanaian businesses with international investors and advance trade and investment partnerships between Ghana and the United Kingdom.

The event, which opened on Monday, October 12, is being held under the theme, “From Confidence to Capital: Unlocking the Next Wave of Growth through Strategic Investment.”

It forms part of the UK-Ghana Growth Partnership and follows the Ghana-UK Investment Summit held in London in June.

The roadshow is expected to showcase investment opportunities in sectors including agribusiness, pharmaceuticals and health technology, financial services, infrastructure and the circular economy.

Participants include Ghana’s High Commissioner to the United Kingdom, Sabah Zita Benson; Presidential Adviser on the 24-Hour Economy and Accelerated Export Development Programme (24H+), Augustus Goosie Tanoh; and Claire Innes, Deputy Director of the Growth Directorate at the UK’s Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO).

The event builds on the UK-Ghana Trade and Investment Summit organised by the UK-Ghana Chamber of Commerce in September, where investment matchmaking sessions generated interest in opportunities worth more than £250 million.

These opportunities form part of a broader investment pipeline exceeding £1.4 billion across several sectors, according to the organisers. Some are now progressing through discussions with prospective investors and strategic partners.

British High Commissioner to Ghana, Dr Christian Rogg, said the roadshow would help turn investor interest into concrete business opportunities and create jobs in both countries.

“The UK Investment Roadshow is the Growth Partnership in action, connecting UK investors with credible opportunities in Ghana and building on our strong momentum to unlock investment, create jobs and turn shared ambition into practical economic opportunities for both countries,” he said.

The event is taking place alongside AFSIC – Investing in Africa, an annual investment conference focused on African markets that is held outside the continent.

Executive Director of the UK-Ghana Chamber of Commerce, Adjoba Kyiamah, said the roadshow would help move discussions from investment interest to practical business deals.

“This strategic event represents an important next step in converting interest into action,” she said.

Kyiamah added that the event would provide a platform to showcase Ghana’s investment potential, facilitate business connections and advance commercially viable discussions with investors seeking opportunities in Africa.

The programme includes an Investment Opportunities Roundtable hosted by British Expertise International, a Ghana Country Investment Session at the AFSIC Summit and a Ghana Investor Deal Room Day.

The deal room will allow investors to engage directly with businesses, project sponsors and government representatives to discuss investment-ready projects.

The roadshow is being delivered by the UK-Ghana Chamber of Commerce and the UK Government’s Jobs and Economic Transformation (JET) programme in Ghana as part of efforts to deepen trade and investment ties between the two countries.
