Opportunity International Savings & Loans has expressed appreciation to its customers and clients for their unflinching support and loyalty over the past nine years.

The company, which boasts of close to 40 branches with three agencies nationwide, is gearing up for a year-long celebration to mark its 10th milestone beginning next year.

Addressing staff of the company at during Christmas in Accra, Mr Kwame Owusu-Boateng, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) said: “The Company has a lot to be thankful to the Lord for, having chalked out several successes locally and internationally.”

He outlined many innovations the company had introduced to the Ghanaian financial market, including mobile banking service, funds transfer, financial literacy for clients and biometric registration for transactions at banking halls.

“We have products targeted at micro-finance entrepreneurs and individuals, as well as deposits; products that cut across savings and current accounts.

“We are also one of the foremost savings and loans firms that provide financial literacy at a cost to us. We believe in transforming the lives of our clients as a result of working with us.”

He noted that, the introduction of the mobile banking also helps to move to clients’ location for basic banking transactions as well as dealing with schools by providing them with loans and other facilities.

The CEO indicated that his outfit had outlined a comprehensive client-oriented year-long programme to mark its 10th year anniversary.

He commended its clients and customers for keeping faith with them over the years.
