  All the great nations learnt how to feed their citizens before they could turn their attention to a comprehensive industrialization effort.If an army walks on it's stomach then the same can be said for a nation.America, China, Russia, Brazil, Germany, France and Israel all have one thing in common-they do not depend on any other country to supply or guarantee their food supply.It is a national disgrace that Ghana with all the fertile lands and favorable weather imports food, water, meat scraps, fish and fruits from countries with harsh weather and farming lands and water sources.I don't know what is going to wake us up but hearing Kufuor mention it is definitely a good sign.
