Ghana seeks JVs, technology transfer

NEW DELHI: A business delegation from Ghana has sought Indian assistance in joint ventures in industries and transfer of technology to boost its economic growth.

An eight-member business and investment delegation from Ghana Tuesday held discussions on this with officials of the Delhi State Industrial Development Corporation (DSIDC) here.

"The delegation is here to look for cooperation between the two countries in different sectors including industrial development and technology transfer," a DSIDC release said.

The Ghana delegation also visited the Bawana industrial complex in the capital where polluting units are being relocated following a Supreme Court order.
