It is unbelievable that Ghanaian children should be urged to engage in such activities in the 21st century. Politicians are quick to point out that children and youth form basis of the nation's future. How come these very politicans could stoop so low to condone and connive with the perpetretors of the heineous and horrible practice of galamsey!

Mentioning galamsey kingpins in Ghana without the name of WONTUMI, will be the greatest injustice ever committed against the people of Ghana. This NPP galamsey lord claims that he owns over 200 excavators, and employs thousands of our youth in the galamsey business. He is the most dangerous and destructive individual galamsey leader in the country. He must be brought to book, else the galamsey menace can never be controlled.

Upon a careful observation on this galamsey saga, i believe the BNI are not trying to be fair to some chiefs especially to the Akyem Abuakwa chief. Are they saying he is behind the galamsey saga at kibi?? Since galamsey was the active occupation there?? They should come again. What of the Ashanti Region. There are so many in Kumasi. So why is Otumfuo left out. Plz BNI we understand u have respect for Otumfuo the same way we the native of the Akyems have huge respect for our paramount chief. Respect is reciprocal. There ask the BNI to caution when it comes to issues like this.
