HFC Bank Ghana Limited has expressed its readiness to take up its rightful position in Ghana’s banking industry as it seeks to implement its rebranding in 2018.

According to the Managing Director (MD) of the bank, Anthony Jordan, their shareholders have given them the green light to be branded as Republic Ghana Limited, and would begin that from next year.

The MD mentioned this at an end-of-year gathering organised by the bank for their stakeholders.

He said, “From next year, when we invite you to our programmes, the invitation will no longer be HFC Bank Ghana; this is because our shareholders has given approval to rebrand the bank to Republic Bank Ghana Limited.”

He said the rebranding was exciting news for them because they are evolving their business to better serve their customers and to also become an internationally known brand.

“I can assure you that your bank would be bigger and better. Every decision made would be with you and your business in mind. You can definitely expect more from the bank next year,” the MD noted.

He thanked the various stakeholders of the bank for the commitment and continuous support to the development of the bank, saying “we celebrate you, our cherished customers and partners; we sincerely thank you for your patronage.”

He also acknowledged the work of his predecessor, Robert Le-Hunte, who is now Minister in charge of Public Utilities in the Government of Trinidad and Tobago.

He said the history of the bank over the last three years cannot be written without emphasising on the role of the former MD, adding that “he has surely set the right path, making the job so much easier.”

Board Chairman of the bank, Charles William Zwennes also reiterated efforts made by the bank to rub shoulders with their competitors, and urged their customers to continue to have faith in them.

He said the board and management would continue to come up with innovations tailored to suit their customers and stakeholders.

He urged the human resource of the bank to always strive for the best in satisfying their partners and customers since the success of the bank rides on the satisfaction of their clients.
