9BS International, a private multi-business outfit, has contracted Hanimart Investment Limited to construct six modern libraries, four clinics and ten mechanized boreholes in the Eastern Region worth over GH¢12 million, as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CRS).
At the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between 9BS International and Hanimart Investment limited in Accra, Mr. Wabadang Vairi, the Executive Chairman of 9BS said, it was necessary to give back to society when the need arises.
“It is very necessary to give to our society and community in different ways and in different regions, as we make efforts to improve the provisions of basic amenities for our communities.
“We want to help develop communities and also bridge the gap in the standards of living of the people in the communities we operate in and by that we have decided to construct six modern and well-equipped library, four state of the art clinics and ten mechanized boreholes in the eastern region”.
According to Mr Vairi, 9BS International, being a human-centred entity, was poised to ensuring that the lives of people were well off.
Mr. Jacob Osei Yeboah, Vice Board Chairman of 9BS International, said they have confidence in Hanimart to execute the job and expressed the hope that the project would be well executed to stand the test of time.
“I am sure you would not let us down on the confidence reposed in you by awarding you this contract to build the state of the art facilities that would serve the needs of the people.”
“Give out your best and let the community and society have the best of libraries and clinics that would serve generations to come” he added.
Mr Joseph Asibi, the Managing Director for Hanimart Investment limited said, his outfit was ready to deliver on the mandate and promised to move to the site by the end of the week to commence work.
The projects are expected to be completed within six months to one year.
The six libraries would have a vast reading area, shelve, discussions lounge, librarian’s station, one office, washrooms, storage space, solar/generator for power backup and a mini-conference room.
The four clinics would have one male ward with ten beds, one female ward with 15 beds, one children’s ward with 15 beds, three consulting rooms, a dispensary, a maternity ward, waiting rooms, storage space, washrooms, reception area, solar/generator for power back up and one ambulance each.
