Love to Excel Academy launches Excel for Business training

The Love to Excel Academy, an African-founded training platform has launched its Excel for Business courses to aid entrepreneurs and professionals develop their Microsoft Excel skills and their practical application to business situations.

The Academy is riding on the improving internet infrastructure in Ghana to offer the training via web with the aim to meet the needs of the Ghanaian professionals or entrepreneur regardless of location. Individuals will thus be able to follow the live sessions online from the comfort of their homes or offices.

Explaining the content of the courses offered by the Academy, Julius Owusu-Kyerematen, the founder said “The Excel for Business courses are aimed at improving both the Excel capability and analytical confidence of professional and entrepreneurs. The courses focus on one of the most universal applications of Excel, financial modeling.”

Financial modeling is the application of Excel in business to building budgets, projections, forecasts, pricing models, operational models, valuations, etc., and is relevant across industries and job functions.

The Excel for Business courses are being offered from Beginner level for those with low comfort in Excel, through Intermediate and Advanced levels. The Academy also caters to the training needs of corporates, offering customized on-site training for their employees.

Julius Owusu-Kyerematen is an INSEAD MBA holder who started his career in investment banking at Citigroup, New York. Over the past decade, he has held several senior leadership roles in telecoms across strategy and marketing with Vodafone Ghana and was most recently Chief Marketing Officer at MTN Guinea. He infuses into the courses a rich variety of relevant practical business experiences.
