Chinese Vendor ZTE announced today it has been awarded a contract by Ghanaian operator Kasapa Telecom, a subsidiary of Hutchison Telecom, to provide a nationwide cdma2000 network. The network will cover the cities of Accra, Tema and Kumasi. Kasapa had 44,320 subscribers as of end-March.
