Forex traders who filed for dollars in Bank of Ghana’s latest forex sales have been offered $25 million.
Although BoG received biddings amounting to $78.75 million, it accepted 31.74% out of the total amount.
In a report published by the central bank in controlling the supply of dollars, the BoG said a total of 108 bids were submitted in the latest forex auction which was carried out on Tuesday [April 7, 2020].
The highest number of bidders (53) were dealers seeking foreign currency within the next seven days.
Dealers seeking foreign currency within the next fifteen days with 29 bidders came second.
There was one bid each for dealers who require dollars within the next two months or more.
