Adonko Company Limited has entreated its customers to reduce the prices of its new product – Adonko Hand Sanitizer on the market following the company’s decision to beat down the prices.

At a press briefing on Tuesday, May 5, 2020 at the Angel Broadcasting Network (ABN) headquarters in Kumasi, Business Manager of Pure FM, Mr Kwame Adinkrah announced the reduction in the prices of the product which has been highly partronised since its introduction unto the market.

This, he said is to enable every household have access to a hand sanitizer in order to help curb the spread of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) disease.

He explained that the company considered other factors such as the scarcity of sanitizers in the country and ‘mad rush’ for Adonko Hand sanitizer.

“After the President lifted the lockdown ban, our checks in town shows that most people are not adhering to the COVID-19 protocols. We realised also that most veronica buckets had no water, making it difficult for people to practice the hand washing protocol. Hence, Dr Oteng thought it needful to reduce prices of the sanitizers to enable everyone have one,” Mr Adinkrah announced as part of the reasons for the price cut.

The company urged all retailers to go by the new pricing and desist from hiking prices to enrich themselves.

“We understand people want to make money. But we’re not in ordinary times. So we urge retailers to go by the new pricing. Together we disarm the virus,” he stressed.

New Prices

125ml which used to sell at GHC15 now cost GHC8, while 200ml which sold at GHC25 now GHC10.
