eTranzact Ghana pledges commitment to revolutionise digital payments and services

The Chief Executive Officer of eTranzact Ghana, Dr. John Apea, has reaffirmed his company's commitment to enhancing digital experiences and services for its users.

Speaking at the unveiling event of the XCEL Ghana mobile application in Accra, the eTranzact Ghana CEO emphasised the company’s dedication to innovation with the goal of providing flexibility and comfort to consumers.

"We live in a world that is constantly evolving, and innovation is not just an option; it’s a necessity. Here at eTranzact, we believe technology should serve as a bridge, bringing us closer to our goals and to each other," John Apea said during an interview with GhanaWeb Business.

Touching further on the XCEL Ghana app, the eTranzact Ghana CEO said the innovation seeks to streamline processes and connect users in meaningful ways, positioning itself as a "super tool" for modern living.

“Key features include the ability to make everyday payments, pay bills, manage subscriptions, and facilitate online buying and selling. In addition to these core services, Xcel introduces unique features like job and internship searches, access to music and event ticketing, as well as news and philanthropic opportunities,” Dr. Apea explained.

"We listened to user feedback, studied the market, and integrated the latest technologies, and we are confident that the Xcel app meets the diverse needs of its users. This achievement is the result of the hard work of eTranzact's dedicated team of developers, designers, and staff, who were commended for their creativity and determination in bringing the vision to life,” he added.

The launch event attracted stakeholders from across the banking, technology, and innovation sectors, reflecting widespread interest in the app’s potential to reshape digital services in Ghana.

Additionally, attendees were encouraged to explore the app, provide feedback, and contribute to its continuous improvement.

The company emphasised that the Xcel app represents more than just a product launch as they believe it’s the creation of a digital community.
