The Entrepreneurs Foundation of Ghana has conferred the award of “Best Non-Bank CEO” on Mr. Samuel Sakyi-Hyde, CEO of uniCredit, leading Savings and Loans Company in Ghana.

In a citation for the award of “Best Non-Bank CEO” for the year 2017, the Council of the 8th Ghana Entrepreneur and Corporate Executives Awards recognized the demonstration of excellence in the discharge of his professional duties and his impact on the growth on uniCredit, leadership and his commitment to the existing corporate culture of diversity.

The foundation further acknowledged the unique role uniCredit is playing by way of SME financing under the leadership of Mr. Samuel Sakyi-Hyde over the last four years.

In a brief chat with newsmen after the awards ceremony, Mr. Sakyi-Hyde expressed his appreciation to the numerous customers of uniCredit for their support and dedicated the award to them. He said these recognitions point to the hard work by the team at uniCredit.

Mr. Sakyi-Hyde said the recognition by the Entrepreneurs Foundation of Ghana will energize the team to do more by way of providing demand-driven products and services that will meet the ever-changing needs of customers.

Mr. Samuel Sakyi-Hyde, an astute banker with over twenty (20) years experience in Financial Services Management, Rural Banking, Credit Risk Management, Domestic Operations, Business Development, Retail and SME Banking, Internal Audit, Treasury Management, Trade Finance and Project Management.

His leadership has witnessed the rapid growth of uniCredit over the last 4 years with uniCredit currently ranked as the top Savings and Loans Company in Ghana, having presence in 7 Regions out of the 10 Regions of Ghana with 26 fully networked branches.
