The Kasoa police with the assistance of the police mobile force have arrested 12 suspected land guards, barely 24 hours after the government issued a statement banning the activities of land guards in the country.
The 12 suspects were arrested after attacking workers of an estate developer at Kojo Oku, a cottage near Kasoa in the Central Region, injuring three persons and vandalizing a Nissan patrol and a bulldozer belonging to the 21st Century real estates developers.
One of the injured, Moses Builsa, a security man of the company is still on admission at the 37military hospital from the bullet wounds he sustained. The 12 suspects are currently in custody.
