A young boy, Anthony Acquah, who allegedly murdered his 17-year-old younger brother at Mampong Pepease, a suburb of Sekondi, has been arrested by the Kwesimintsim District Police Command in the Western Region.
A statement signed by the Head of Public Affairs unit of the Western Regional Police Command, Superintendent Olivia Adiku, mentioned that the heinous crime took place on Saturday, August 16, 2025.

According to police, preliminary investigations contained in the statement, Acquah stabbed his kid brother following a misunderstanding between the two on Saturday, August 16, 2025, around 1800 hours.
The suspect was said to have fled to a hideout at Kojo Krom but was picked up by the police on Wednesday, August 20, 2025, following actionable intelligence.
The statement indicated the suspect is currently assisting the police in investigations.
