2 persons believed to be armed robbers have been lynched for allegedly killing 'okada' rider
Two suspected armed robbers have been lynched after allegedly robbing and killing a commercial motor rider in the Awutu Senya West District of the Central Region.

"Two suspected armed robbers have been lynched after allegedly robbing and killing an Okada rider at Awutu Mampong in the Awutu Senya West District of the Central Region," the post read.
According to the details, the suspects engaged the services of the 19-year-old motor rider, Kofi Mensah, who had just completed senior high school.
Halfway through the journey, the two reportedly attacked the motor rider.
"The suspects are said to have hired the services of a 19-year-old Kofi Mensah, a rider, but shot him midway through the journey before fleeing with his motorbike, mobile phone, and an unspecified amount of money. They tied his hands with a rope before escaping," the post added.

Residents later discovered the lifeless body of the young rider and immediately launched an arrest for the suspects.
"Residents say the lifeless body of the young rider was discovered not long after the attack, triggering anger among the youth in the community. The group immediately launched a search in the surrounding area and, upon apprehending the suspects, subjected them to what eyewitnesses described as ‘severe beating’ that resulted in their deaths," it noted.
All three bodies have since been transported by the Agona Swedru Police to the Police Hospital as investigations continue.
