Four suspects who were arrested by the Tema Regional Police Command in connection with a missing excavator belonging to the Tema Metropolitan Assembly, have been granted bail pending further investigation.

The suspects were arrested after the Tema mayor lodged a complaint against them.

The four were invited by the police on Wednesday, 7 November 2018, after an inconclusive investigation. They are to report to the police on Friday for further investigation.

They are Alexander Allotey, TMA Mechanical Engineer; Lawrence Agyekum, political aide to the Metropolitan Chief Executive (MCE) who doubles as Assembly Member for Ottawa Electoral Area; one Stanley Arthur and one Figo, both security aides to the MCE.
