Boy, 15 arrested over alleged fraud

KNUST Police Command has arrested fifteen (15) year old boy at Anloga-Junction in the Oforikrom Constituency of the Ashanti Region for allegedly defrauding under false pretense.

The fifteen (15) year old boy name withheld opened multiple Facebook accounts using the name of Reagan Bentum Jackson, the son Kumawood Movie Producer and Director Jackson K. Bentum.

Kwasi Quaye, brother of Reagan Bentum Jackson who confirmed the arrest to Abusua Fm’s Osei Kwadwo said the boy was arrested in an attempt to collect money from a certain lady using the name of Reagan Bentum Jackson.

Kwasi Quaye revealed that the family of Jackson K. Bentum has received complaints from section of Ghanaians that Reagan Bentum Jackson is collecting money from them with the intention to help them to join the kumawood Movie Industry.

He therefore urged Ghanaians to report anyone who will use Reagan Bentum Jackson or any family member of Jackson K. Bentum name to demand money from them to the police.

The boy is currently at KNUST Police station for interrogations.
