Car sprayer jailed over child pornography

One out of the three persons who compelled two minors to suck their penis and filming them has been sentenced to three years imprisonment by an Accra Circuit Court.

Ebenezer Asiedu a 22 –year- old car sprayer pleaded guilty to the charge of indecent assault and the court convicted him on his own plea.

Sefakor Ayeke, a 25- year -old polytechnic student and alleged master mind behind the offence and Isaac Kofi Parku Dodzi have each been admitted to bail in the sum of GH?20,000.00 with three sureties one to be justified.

According to the court the sureties should be senior public servants.

Meanwhile medical examination conducted on the two minors showed that their vaginas were intact.

Prosecution initially suspected that the accused persons might have had sex with the minors and filmed them, hence requested that medical examination be conducted on them.

Sefakor Ayeke, Ebenezer Asiedu a car sprayer, Isaac Kofi Parku Dodzi a student have been jointly charged with conspiracy to commit crime and subjecting a child to inhuman treatment.

One Mustapha an accomplice is said to be at large.

Ayeke is also being held for abetment of crime while Asiedu aged 22 and Dodzi 18 years are also being held for indecent assault.

Ayeke and Dodzi on October 22, this year, however denied the charges before the court presided over by Mrs Rita Agyeman-Budu.

The case of prosecution was that the complainant is a businessman, residing at Michael Camp, near Tema with the first victim eight years and a class four pupil.

According to the prosecutor, the second victim, 10 years and junior high school student resides at Madina Washington with the mother.

Prosecution said the accused persons are friends who reside at Madina Washington. In September this year during the long vacation, the eight year old victim came to spend the vacation with her cousin, the second victim at their grandmother’s home at Madina.

While the victims were with their grandmother, Afeke sought permission to take them to a nearby café to play games.

Prosecution said Afeke then lured the victims into Mustapha’s house where she agreed with him to make the victims to suck the penis of Mustapha in turns after Afeke had demonstrated to them.

Afeke also lured the victim into a guest house and she made the 10- year- old victim suck Asiedu’s penis.

According to the prosecutor, Afeke then sucked the penis of Dodzi. Soon after the act, Afeke bought ice cream for the victims and told them not to tell anyone.

ASP Acquah said Afeke filmed the act which she allegedly sent to the US for a fee. When the eight- year old victim returned to her parents at Tema, she informed them about the ordeal.

A complaint was therefore lodged with the Domestic Violence and Victim’s Support Unit at Madina on October 2, this year by one of the victim’s father and the three accused persons were nabbed.

Prosecution said the case is still under investigation as the Police is trying to arrest Mustapha an accomplice who is now at large.

The matter has been adjourned to November 18.
