Samuel Koblah Narh, a pastor of the Church of Pentecost in the Awutu Papaase District, has allegedly been robbed and shot at the entrance of his residence.

The thieves, who are yet to be identified, made away with the pastor’s Toyota RAV4 car with registration number GW 545-22 and his mobile phones.

Giving an account of what transpired that day, a church member narrated that the incident occurred a few minutes after they had closed from an inspiring and educative men’s ministry program.

“It was around 8:45 in the evening after an interesting church service. The pastor, who even preached at the service that night, was heading home after the church service, and as usual, he sat in his car and drove off,” he said in a video sighted by GhanaWeb, which was posted by EDHUB on X.

He further stated that after the pastor had left for his house, some church members who were still around the church building saw a car speeding past the church’s premises.

This was only to receive a call from one of the church elders who reported the incident to him.

“Some of the church members were still at the church premises when we saw a car speeding past the church building. We all turned to watch the car because it was unusual, and this happened 10 minutes after our pastor had left. I soon received a call from one of our elders who said our pastor had been shot in front of his house. I didn’t believe him because I had seen the pastor leave, so I was contemplating how such an incident could happen within such a short time. He insisted it was our pastor who had been shot, and I remembered the car that sped past the church,” he added.

The pastor was rushed to the Winneba Trauma and Specialist Hospital for first aid but was later transferred to the Church of Pentecost Hospital in Madina for further treatment.
