Kumasi, Feb. 23, GNA - The Ash-Town District Court One, presided over by Mr Solomon Kofi Achina, has ordered the Police to conduct a thorough investigation into the puzzle over the missing body of a woman, who died on November 6, 2006 The late Dora Smith Sarfo, was pronounced dead, an hour after she had been rushed to the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital (KATH) by the husband. The man, William Ebo Smith, is standing trial at the court, accused of hindering an inquest. He denied the offence and was remanded into police custody to aid police investigations to trace the corpse. He would re-appear on March 26. Chief Superintendent Atibilla Moses told the court that the deceased was sent to KATH by Smith when she suddenly fell ill. She died soon on arrival and the accused was given a coroner's form for a post-mortem to be conducted on the corpse but he abandoned the body and for more than three years he had kept the wife's death from her family.
