According to the prosecutor, the accused, met the victim on the same day around 2100 hours and promised to give her a mobile phone and GH¢20.00 if she allowed him to have sex with her.

The victim agreed and they went to the outskirt of the town for sex.

However, in the course of the sexual intercourse, the victim complained of pains and asked the accused to stop, but Twum got angry and started beating her and threatened to kill her.

The victim shouted loudly and that attracted the neighbours to the place.

The prosecution said the victim informed the parents and later lodged a complaint with the police and Twum was arrested and arraigned.
