Two persons have been remanded into prison custody for defilement by the Nsawam Circuit Court on Thursday.

The two persons, Albert Ahiabor, 22, a driver, who lives at Ahodwo and Ebenezer Agyapong 26, a mason also lives at Noka all near Nsawam committed the crimes separately at different date but were brought to the same court, charged with similar offences and remanded to reappear on November 13.

Prosecuting, Police Chief Inspector Alex Cosmos told the court presided over by Mr. Kwame Amoako, that on October 25, Ahiabor attended an all-night church service with the 13-year old school girl at the Devils is a Liar Church at Ahodwo.

The prosecutor said the church service ended around 0300 hours and the accused lured the victim to a house and forcibly had sex with her.

Chief Inspector Cosmos said in the case of Ebenezer Agyapong, the accused lived in the same house with the 14-year –old girl and her ground mother.

Chief Inspector Cosmos said sometime in June this year, the ground mother detected that the victim was pregnant and when she was asked who was responsible, he mentioned Agyapong’s name.

This, he said, caused Agyapong go into hiding until he was arrested at Ayibontey, near Nsawam on October 24 and brought before the court.
