Fake Currency Printer Nabbed

A 33-year-old Cameroonian, Forigean Eric Michael has been arrested by the Nsawam Police for allegedly printing several bundles of fake dollars notes.

Police Superintendent Otchere Boapea, in charge of Nsawam Police told the Ghana News Agency (GNA) that Michael was arrested in a hotel at Asante Akuraa, a suburb of Nsawam upon a tip off. Supt. Boapea said the accused and a Nigerian, now on the run, booked a room at the hotel and refused to pay their bill of 250,000 for four days. Meanwhile, the police have seized a box containing the fake dollars and other chemicals used by the two in their operation.
