He said on January 9, the victim was in her house removing palm branches to make a broom when the accused, who was passing by saw her and invited her to accompany him to his farm to collect some palm branches. The victim agreed and followed Agbesi to the farm where he attacked her with a cutlass and forcibly removed her panties and had several rounds of sex with her. The prosecutor said the victim later reported her ordeal to her father when she arrived home and he also informed the Odikro of the community.
