Dormaa-Ahenkro (B/A), Nov. 19, GNA - A circuit court in Dormaa-Ahenkro has granted bail of GHC15,000.00 with two sureties to be justified to Kwasi Boakye, a former Shell Filling Station Manager.

Boakye, who allegedly stole GHC10,445.00 belonging to his employers, pleaded not guilty.

Police Chief Inspector Charles Agovi told the court presided over by Mr. Alexander Osei Tutu that the accused was the manager of a Shell Filling Station in Dormaa-Ahenkro between October 2009 and January 2010, during which period he allegedly stole the money.

The prosecution said Boakye handled keys to the company's safe where proceeds from the sale of goods in its supermarket was kept. Chief Insp. Agovi said on January 20 this year, an audit of the company's account revealed that GHC10,445.00 could not be traced. He said the accused, sensing dander, handed the keys over to a colleague worker and bolted but he was arrested on January 26 this year. 19 Nov. 10 Attention recipients, item 03 ends fist cast.
