Four armed robbers killed in a gun battle with police

A recent police operation in the Amenfi East Municipality of the Western Region resulted in the fatal shooting of four suspected armed robbers who had been terrorising Wassa Asundua residents.

The ensuing shootout claimed the lives of four suspects, while one suspect escaped and is now the subject of a police search.

The police assured the residents and the Ghanaian public that they are on a manhunt for the suspect so he would face justice.
