Husband butchers wife; locks 3-year-old son with corpse

A 34-year-old woman Nana Ama Stella has been murdered in cold blood by her husband Kofi Abraham at Assin Fosu immigration on Monday.

The suspect reportedly hacked his wife with a cutlass and a pick axe until she died and immediately took to his heels after committing the crime.

Nana Ama Stella had severe cuts on many parts of her body, with her left hand almost chopped off.

The suspect locked their 3-year-old boy with the corpse in the room. The body of the victim was later found and conveyed by Assin Fosu police to St Francis Hospital morgue.

The Police are on a manhunt to arrest the suspect to continue with investigation.
