One of the five suspects arrested in connection with the murder of a 42-year -old Anthony Drobo, a fuel retailer at Kotwi, a suburb of Kumasi in the Ashanti Region has been identified.
Wife of the deceased, identified the suspect Kofi Emmanuel 22, a food vendor as one of the three suspects who carried out the robbery on the dawn of Wednesday.
The suspects were arrested yesterday around 5:pm at a hide-out at Asafo BB, another suburb of Kumasi.
The others include Kwadwo Addai 18, drivers mate, Moses Atoa 19, Porter, Sadat Mohammed 22 and Power.
Addressing Journalists, ACP Osei Ampofo Duku, the Ashanti Regional Deputy Commander indicated that one of the suspects mentioned one Papa Djan a firewood seller as the financier of their various robberies.
He therefore appealed to the public to help the police arrest the suspect who has been declared wanted to assist in investigation.
‘Victims of all kinds of robberies being in streets, residential, workplace, highways robberies are entreated to come to the Regional headquarters to identify their assailants for prompt investigation and prosecution,’ he said.
