Man inflicts machete wounds on fiancee over GHc400

A Niger citizen based at Danso in Adeiso of the Eastern region has allegedly butchered her fiancée after accusing her of stealing his GHc400.

Nyankonton Mu Nsem’s Prince Collins Bening in a report said, the victim with whom the suspect have a number of children, told him she was pregnant and wanted money to terminate the pregnancy.

However, the suspect told the victim he did not have the money to abort the pregnancy. He later accused the victim of stealing his GHc400 an acusation which prompted him to carry out his action.

According to him, residents in the area also took the law into their own hands and inflicted machete wounds on the suspect. The suspect Moro is currently on admission at the hospital and under police surveillance.

The victim Sister Mawusi who is also receiving treatment at the hospital, he concluded.
