Man loses left thumb for slapping another

A 32-year-old man has lost his left thumb after he reportedly slapped another at Gyeasehenekrom near Adansi Akrofuom in the Akrofuom District of the Ashanti Region.

According to a police situational report sighted by MyNewsGh.com, suspect Ebenezer Gbefa, currently in the custody of the Akrofuom Police is reported to have cut off the left thumb of Francis Sarkodie in retaliation to a slap received from the victim the previous day.

Police confirm that the victim is currently on admission at Assin Praso Government Hospital receiving treatment while the suspect is in police custody assisting with investigations
