Man who defrauded Ebony’s father GH¢10,000 declared wanted by police

Personnel of the Ghana Police Service are on the heels of a young man only identified as Justice Ohene Adu Djan for defrauding the father of the late Ebony Reigns, Starboy Kwateng an GH¢10,000.

The suspect is said to have gone into hiding and his whereabouts unknown according to the victim after he allegedly forged his signature to withdraw the stated amount from his bank account.

According to a Facebook post sighted by MyNewsGh.com, Nana Opoku Kwarteng posted photos of the wanted man with the caption:” See the arrowed brat.. he stole my 10,000ghs on 7th Oct 2019. He’s wanted by the police. Kindly Call 0244644799 for his arrest. Remember to share. Thanks”.

Confirming the incident to MyNewsGh.com, Nana Opoku Kwarteng said Justice Ohene on October 7, 2019, forged his signature to withdraw the stated amount with his knowledge.

“Yes it is true he forged my signature and withdrew an amount of 10,000 from my bank account. I have reported the case to the police and investigations are underway. His name is Justice Ohene Djan and he is wanted by the police”, he told MyNewsGh.com.
