Ghana Police Service has arrested John Kwabena Owusu-Ansah for utterances suggestive of threats on the life of a High Court judge and allegations imputing criminal conduct against her.

Owusu-Ansah in the video invoked curses on Justice Patricia Quansah and hurled unprintable words at her over a ruling in a case he felt was biased.

According to the police, “the arrest followed a petition submitted by the Judicial Service of Ghana. The viral video, which circulated widely on TikTok, X, and other online platforms, contained threats, abusive language and allegations imputing criminal conduct against Justice Quansah.”

“The Ghana Police Service has arrested a suspect in connection with a viral video in which he threatened a Justice of the High Court, Her Ladyship Justice Patricia Quansah.
