The Police are searching for the suspects in the alleged rape case
The Ghana Police Service has stated that they intercepted a video recording of what recording of what appears to be gang rape involving a young lady and at least five men.
“In view of the serious nature of the act as shown in the video a special investigation team has been constituted at the CID headquarters to analyse the video with aim of identifying those involved and get them arrested for the necessary legal processes to be activated, a statement from the police and signed by Olivia Turkson, Public Relations Officer of the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) added.
The CID, therefore, appealing to all media houses and those in possession of the video to stop circulation obscene materials.
Anybody with any relevant information should personally report to the cybercrime unit of the CID Headquarters for further action.
