Superintendent Oduro Amenng, Tema Regional MTTU Commander, told newsmen that Adjei, on February 19, 2013, at about 9am, in his bid to press Twasam to fix his broken down vehicle or refund his fee paid, stood in the way of the suspect who was driving out from the workshop, to prevent him from leaving.

According to him, upon seeing Adjei at the workshop, Twasam who entered a Nissan Urvan bus with registration number ER 683 Y, after declaring his intent to kill Adjei with the vehicle if he did not get out of his way, knocked Adjei down to death with the vehicle.

The body of Adjei has since been deposited at the Tema General Hospital morgue. The police have launched investigations into the matter.
