Police arrest man for narcotics

A 55-year old man, Kojo Tandoh, has been arrested by the police for possessing narcotic drugs without authority.

The Regional Crime Officer, Mr. James Kofi Abraham, told the GNA in Sekondi that the suspect was arrested on April 4, last month.

He said Tandoh was arrested in possession of four parcels of dried leaves in a Yellow polythene bag suspected to be Indian Hemp.

The police said Tandoh denied ownership of the parcels and mentioned one John of Kojokrom as the owner.

The police is investigating the matter while the exhibit had been submitted to the police forensic laboratory for examination.**
