The Ghana Police Service has initiated a manhunt for Bright Tetteh, also known as Kofi Y2K, a suspect who escaped from police custody after being arrested for his involvement in a robbery at Abrokefe in the Western North Region, myjoyoline.com has reported.

Bright Tetteh and his accomplice, Yaw Tawiah, popularly known as Jah Boy, were arrested on September 23,2024, for robbing their victims of valuables including gold concrete and several mobile phones.

The arrest was effected with the help of community members, according to a police statement.

Bright Tetteh managed to escape from custody, resulting to an immediate announcement of his manhunt.

However, Yaw Tawiah is still in custody aiding the police with their investigations.
