Toure Abdul Razak, host of “Fiili n Mataasa” programme on Marhaaba FM an Accra-based Hausa radio station has inflicted severe injuries on the face and head of his third wife, Habiba Munkaila, aged 33.
“As if possessed by an evil spirit, this heartless man who portrays himself as an angel in public severally punched his wife in the face as well as hit her head against the wall as their four-year-old son and a year-old daughter looked on helplessly,” a family source disclosed.
ASP Edna Akotsu Head of the Domestic Violence Victim Support Unit (DOVVSU) of the Housing Down Police Station in the Adentan Municipal Assembly of the Greater Accra Region, who spoke to DAILY GUIDE, said the case was reported on February 5, 2019 with the victim complaining of severe eye pains and headache.
The victim she said was immediately issued with a police medical form to see a doctor which she has done already and provided the necessary exhibits for investigations.
Toure Abdul Razak was equally arrested that same day (5/02 19) and granted court bail the following day (February 6, 2019).
The Head of Unit indicated that the unit has completed the docket waiting for the Judicial Police to determine which court will handle the case.
Toure Abdul Razak, who is also the Chief Executive of Hijrah TV, an Islamic channel on satellite in Ghana according to a family source, is said to take delight in punching his wives at any given opportunity.
The victim is said to have been on admission briefly at the 37 Military Hospital following the brutish attack.
When Razak was called for comments on the story, he did not pick the call.
The CEO of Marhaba Media Limited has denied that the gentleman works with his radio station. He told DAILY GUIDE that “he used to host a youth programme but has ceased doing so for the past two years. I wish to state categorically that Abdul Razak Toure does not work with us and should therefore not be associated with the Marhaba brand.”
