Deep-throat sources have confirmed to ultimatefmonline.com, that general police constable Ernest Koranteng with Service Number PC43060 who has been arrested in connection with robbery was on interdiction for professional misconduct.

The source revealed that he was nearly dismissed from the service, but petitioned the police administration challenging his purported dismissal which is why he was put on interdiction pending a final outcome of the matter.

“A disciplinary committee had been set to look into the merit of his petition before he got embroiled in yet another criminal conduct.” The source said

The cop, who is a member of a motor snatching syndicate in the Wa Municipality, was arrested by police on Wednesday for his alleged involvement in robbery.

The suspect and two of his accomplices currently on the run, attempted robbing a resident at Kpaguri a suburb of the municipality of his “Mapouka” motorbike but the bravado exhibited the victim who is also a security officer in one of the establishments, saw him overpower the three.

As a result, they tried fleeing the scene after an alarm had been raised by the victim who managed to hold onto the suspect and in the ensuing struggle, he freed himself.

Unfortunately, a bunch of Identity Cards, including his NHIS card (12134982) and Service ID Card gave him up as they were discovered on the scene of the struggle by the victim who lodged an official complaint with the police and deposited them as evidence leading to his arrest.

The victim has since identified the suspect as one of the three who attacked him.
