Swift police action leads to recovery of stolen Toyota in Kukurantumi

A Toyota car reportedly stolen on Sunday, September 14, 2025, at Kukurantumi in the Eastern Region has been recovered following swift action by the Akyem Tafo police patrol team, led by Sergeant Takyi Mensah and driver Appiah Kubi Michael.

In a phone interview with GhanaWeb on Sunday September 14, 2025, Seargent Takyi Mensah said the owner of the vehicle, King George, confirmed the development.

"The car has been retrieved," he stated.

The quick response of the patrol team was key to retrieving the stolen car.
