Thieves have ransacked the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Constituency office in Juaben, Ashanti Region, stealing six television sets and other properties.

According to a police situational report sighted by MyNewsGh.com, the thieves used a ladder to scale the premises and caused damage to the party reception room, where all the office keys were kept inside a drawer before embarking on their operation.

They ransacked the room and took some of the office keys, which they used to open the secretary's, chairman's, and Member of Parliament's (MP's) offices and stole six Nasco 42-inch television sets.

The security man for the office, Edward Kwame Okyere, has officially lodged a complaint with the police.

A team of police personnel led by District Commander ASP Yvonne M. Asomaning, together with a Crime Scene team led by DSP Mr. Francis Nimo of the Kumasi Regional headquarters, as confirmed by MyNewsGh.com, visited the crime scene.

Upon inspection, the police observed a wooden ladder behind the party office's fence wall, leaning against the polytank container leading to the main premises of the party office.
