Three boys gang rape 2 year-old girl and sister

A two -year-old girl and her 15 –year- old sister have been allegedly defiled by three boys at Glefe in Dasoman.

The two sisters had sought shelter in a neigbbour’s kiosk since it was too late in the night to go home after attending a church programme.

However, their neighbour’s son and his two other male friends allegedly drugged the girls and sexually abused them while they were asleep.

The two are currently receiving treatment at the Child Health Department of the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital.

The Principal Nursing Officer at the Child Protection Unit Mrs Harriet Kluffio in an interview with Atinka News explained that medical examination on the 2-year-old girl confirmed that, she had been sexually abused.

According to her, the 2-year-old's hymen was torn with traces of blood in her vagina. The examination also revealed bruises between her thighs and her vagina and other injuries that displayed evidence of sexual assault.

The Principal Nursing Officer explained that the hospital is yet to conduct medical examination on the fifteen-year-old due to her unavailability.

Mrs. Kluffio has charged the Dansoman Police Command to conduct a thorough investigation into the matter and punish the perpetrators of the heinous crime.
